About

UK FUNKY — THE CONCERT celebrates the music, artists and culture of UK Funky, bringing the energy of the original dancefloor anthems into a new live setting with a full orchestra.

The music and the movement

UK Funky emerged from London's club culture, bringing together house music, syncopated percussion and African and Caribbean musical influences. Its DJs, producers, singers and dancers helped create a distinctive sound that became the soundtrack to an era. From underground favourites to crossover hits, the music continues to inspire listeners and artists.

A new way to experience UK Funky

This concert project is designed to celebrate that legacy through live performances, bringing together original UK Funky voices, special guests and orchestral arrangements. It is not a DJ set or a tribute act: the ambition is to honour the music and the people who made it.

London and Birmingham

UK Funky events are planned for London and Birmingham. Dates, venues and further announcements will be shared when confirmed. Explore the London event or explore the Birmingham event, and register for updates.
